The Parent/Leaders Association (PLA) is offering an opportunity for you to make money for your club. PLA is sponsoring the Jubilee/Sizzler Steer and Heifer Show on Saturday, August 1st & Sunday, August 2nd at the Austin County Fairgrounds. The heifer show will be on Saturday and steer show on Sunday. We need volunteers to run the concession stand over the two day event. The way it will work is PLA will purchase the groceries. When that money is recuperated, each member that signs up to work a shift will earn money for their club and at the end of the weekend, each club that works will receive an amount for the hours they have worked. We need at least 3 adults and 3 or 4 kids to help per shift. It would be helpful for you to arrive 15 minutes before your shift so that you will be able to get up to speed on the activity.
